RehabEQ Foundations Workshop
This practical and inspiring workshop combines emotional intelligence assessment and training with an exploration of personal values to assist participants to better understand themselves as formal or informal leaders.
The RehabEQ approach to foundational leadership development starts with an “in person” workshop that is designed specifically with the rehabilitation professional in mind. Prior to the session, each participant completes an EQ- i 2.0 online assessment. During EQ-i 2.0 assessment, the participant answers a series of questions related to five emotional intelligence composites from the EQ-i 2.0 model. Once the participant completes the self-assessment, a confidential “Leadership Report” is generated and sent to the participant shortly before the workshop. The Leadership Report outlines the EQ-i 2.0 results through the lens of four key dimensions of leadership: Authenticity, Coaching, Insight, and Innovation. The participant’s results can be compared against those of top leaders, creating a coaching benchmark for exceptional emotional intelligence performance. The Leadership Report also contains insights on the leadership and organizational implications of the participant’s results, information about skills that have the potential to be leadership derailers, as well as strategies for development aimed to help the participant reach his or her true leadership potential. The EQ-i 2.0 Leadership Report is debriefed through individual and group activities in order to further deeper the participant’s understanding of emotional intelligence and guide the development of individual action plans for improving emotional intelligence. The second and a equally important part of the Foundations workshop involves an exploration of personal or core values. Uncovering one’s personal values is a critical component to understanding what motivates or drives a person to act in a particular way. At the close of the workshop, each participant will have an understanding of their personal values and a practical and easy to implement action plan for improving emotional intelligence.

RehabEQ Leadership Skill Development Workshop
The Leadership Skill Development Workshop is designed to build off the Foundations workshop by guiding participants through the development of practical and proven leadership skills that can be easily applied in today’s rehabilitation workplace. Emotional intelligence improvements and clarity on personal values together form a solid foundation for technical leadership skill development. This workshop involves leadership skill enhancement in the areas of interpersonal communication, coaching, conflict management, leading change, and team development. These key leadership skills are reinforced through reflection, role playing, group activities, case studies, and one on one facilitation. Theoretical concepts are quickly translated into practical tips and tricks that are applied to everyday workplace challenges.
